April 8, 2024: eloped! For many reasons… we were buying a house, I could then sponsor Peter for Portugal citizenship (a long process), and, most importantly, we wanted to have the best of both worlds: a more intimate, us-and-family-focused day as well as a day to celebrate with almost everybody we know. It might have leaked a few times, but being secretly married was fun. 🙂
June 7, 2025: public wedding! One of the best days of our lives full of lush gardens, amazing food, dancing, beer pong, and so many loved ones.
